Polly Dicta Causes

Polly Dicta supports four causes.  These causes were chosen for two reasons 1) because they are among the top causes mentioned by Americans in several major polls and 2) because it is not difficult to measure an individual’s contribution to these causes. Polly Dicta does not take a position on any of these causes at the national level. We encourage people to do what they can in their personal lives to advance the cause. For example, we do not take a stand about a “single payer” healthcare system (except on the Polly Dicta blog) but we do make suggestions about what people can do to lower the cost of healthcare and improve the health of America. 

Economy:
We offer you recent news articles about the economy.  We discuss tools and techniques to help you improve your economic situation.  We encourage research to study how the taxpayer’s money is spent. We do not make judgments about spending priorities (except on the Polly Dicta blog), but we do point out waste and conflicts of interest.  There is a forum on the Economy page so registered users can post their comments.

Healthcare: 
Our goal is lowering the cost of healthcare, improving the health of Americans, and increasing access to healthcare.  We give you recent news articles about healthcare.  There is a forum on the Healthcare page so registered users can post their comments.

Environment:
We encourage preserving and improving the environment to improve our quality of life. We give you recent news articles about the environment. There is a forum on the Environment page so registered users can post their comments.

Energy:
We encourage energy reducing our dependence on foreign oil and planning for our future when the oil reserves will not satisfy our energy requirements.  We give you recent news articles about energy.  There is a forum on the Energy page so registered users can post their comments.
